Who are we?

My name is James Penney and I have been in the Newsagent business since 2000. I enjoy comics and pop culture so much I decided to branch out into stocking them in my retail store and “Penney’s House of Awesomeness” (or PHOA!) was born.

We are a buyer and seller of rare and sought after collectibles including high-grade collectable comic books, primarily from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s onwards, “vaulted” Pop Vinyls, board games, card games, statues, action figures and a wide range of other pop culture collectibles and accessories, but comic books are our passion.
